Goal of The Dwarika’s Eco-Organic Farms

To preserve and revive Nepal’s native biodiversity, promoting harmonious ecosystems and self-sufficiency.


  • To preserve and replicate agro-biodiversity in open-pollinated and heirloom varieties of food, fibre and medicinal crops
  • Cultivation and collection of indigenous crop varieties in the different ecological and altitudinal areas of Nepal
  • To produce a complete set of certified organic food to supply The Dwarika's Group of Hotels and Resorts, and each of its outlets
  • To raise awareness and facilitate farmers groups or cooperatives to maximise the production of high-value indigenous crops, encouraging sustainable farming and income generation
  • To cultivate ecological/organic literacy, especially within farming communities and in private and public schools
  • To encourage the reawakening of the evolutionary and spiritual connection between human beings, communities and the natural world
